# Glimmer Health

> Glimmer is an iPhone health and calorie-tracking app whose AI coach runs entirely on-device. You describe meals in plain language, Apple's on-device foundation model parses them into food and macros, and everything is stored in Apple Health on your phone. There is no Glimmer account server, no cloud AI, and no copy of your health data anywhere else.

Glimmer's differentiator is architectural, not a policy promise: because the model and the data store are both on the device, every core feature works with networking switched off entirely. Marketing site content is public and may be quoted.
